Disney on Ice

A couple of weeks ago we entered a lottery to win Disney on Ice tickets from our housing and we ended up winning some! We were super excited to take Dawson because he LOVES Mickey and all his friends. We were surprised when we got there and saw that we had really good seats, we were expecting to be in the upper bowl but instead we were only 7 rows up in the lower bowl! Sweet!!

Here is Dawson waiting for the show to start. He had to bring his Mickey of course! After we got there we were bummed that we didn't think to bring his Mickey ears that we got from Disneyland too. We ended up getting some cotton candy that had Mickey ears on it so it all worked out. He didn't want to wear them much during the show anyway, he plays with them a lot at home though.


Here they come!!! He had the biggest smile and was SO excited when they first came out.


We had a lot of fun. Dawson stood up and danced to the music a lot and kept turning around to look at us with a huge smile on his face and he'd clap his hands. :) He cried when it was over, he didn't want to say bye to Mickey!!

The other day I mentioned that we got a new car seat from the NICU baby shower last week, we were able to take the car seat that they gave us to Babies R Us and we exchanged it for a Graco. We have 2 graco strollers (a single and a double) so we figured sticking with Graco would be a good idea that way the car seat will fit in the strollers we have and stuff. And the new seat is SO cute and she fits in it SO well!!! It has lower slots than most car seats and you can move the buckle that goes in between the legs closer so it fits her better. Perfect for small babies!



I like to take pictures of her while I am holding her... I'm sure you've noticed that already. haha




She weighs 5lbs 15oz now! She's almost a 6 pounder!! Hopefully she will gain some weight again today, they don't weigh her until around 9pm so we won't know til later, but if she keeps gaining then she should be able to come home SOON!!
