Baby Shower!

Around midnight tonight Ashlynn will be off the TPN!!! Yay!! She's off all the antibiotics already. She has been eating great and is up to 32 cc's, that will go up even more tomorrow. She's happy to be eating again.

She weighs around 5lbs 13oz... I say "around" because I was there when the nurse weighed her last night and I was there when the nurse weighed her tonight and both times they had to weigh her 3 times and got different amounts each time. She does have a lot of wires and tubes hanging off of her so I'm sure that makes it hard to get her exact weight. Last night she weighed 5lbs 8oz and tonight 5lbs 13oz. That big of a weight gain doesn't seem right to me... We'll just say she weighs between 5lbs 8oz and 5lbs 13oz. :)

I decided to bring her in some onesies to wear today. She's been wearing the hospital t-shirts since she was born, I decided it's about time that she gets a little dressed up. I can't put pants or anything on her yet because of the PICC line (that will be most likely be removed soon!) and they have to put the blood pressure cuff on her leg when they are getting her blood pressure... But onesies are ok for her wear. She looked adorable. I brought her some new blankets too, I've been bringing her blankets from home for awhile now. They make her bed look a lot cuter. (I tried to bring her some hats too but her head was too small for all of them. haha)


I was at the hospital this morning for a baby shower that they had for all the babies in the NICU and Dave surprised us while I was there! He had a couple of patients cancel so he had a little longer lunchtime so he headed over to the hospital to see Ashlynn. :)




The baby shower was a lot of fun and we got spoiled with lots of stuff!!! We got a car seat, lots of clothes and pj's, diapers, a diaper bag (which we're going to donate back to the hospital because we already have one), lots of little baby toys, a boppy, some books, blankets, a teddy bear... I know I am forgetting a lot of stuff but I have pictures!





Pretty cool huh? I can't believe how much stuff we all got!!
