Our 25 Days of Christmas {Days 8-9}

I finally hung up our stockings last night. I was having a hard time deciding where they were going to go because we don't have a lot of room. I had to move where I hung up the pictures with Santa, but the stockings are hung up and I love them! When Ashlynn saw them she called them "socks" and wanted me to put them on her feet. *lol* Dawson said something today that I thought was pretty funny, too. He said, "I love Ashlynn's name. Mama, aren't you happy that we named her Ashlynn after we built her?" haha I love it!

Day 2 - Write a Letter to Santa
Day 3 - Go to the Zoo to See ZooLights!
Day 4 - Frosty the Snowman Movie Night

Day 5 - Joke and Treat Day

Day 6 - Learn a Christmas Song

Day 7 - Make Paper Snowflakes

Day 8 - Play Christmas Bingo (aka Jingo!)

This was Dawson's first time playing Bingo and he loved it!

And here is all the cards that Dada had to read before one of us got bingo. It was a long game but Dawson had a lot of fun. The lady that made this game made a bunch of different cards, I think we could play with up to ten people (I only printed two cards for now), maybe next year at the family Christmas party or something. :)

Day 9 - Joke and Treat Day

Christopher brought the kids some more candy from the North Pole and we read a new joke...

What did one snowman say to the other?

Do you smell carrots?

That got a little laugh out of Dawson. :P 

It snowed like crazy yesterday so before Dave left for work he took Dawson out sledding this morning. Ashlynn wanted to go out there so bad but we don't have a snowsuit for her yet. :( We ordered one, and it will be here tomorrow, so she'll be able to go out there for a little bit next time. I was happy that Dawson was able to get out and do something fun on a joke day... I wish Ashlynn could have joined in on the fun, too, but I knew she'd be too cold to enjoy it. Here's a picture of Dawson sledding! It's nice that we face this big hill so I can watch him from inside while he's having fun.
