Dawson's New Room!!

Dawson has graduated from a toddler bed! We have been watching the bed that we wanted to buy for him for a couple of months now, and a couple of weeks ago it went on sale so we went ahead and bought it. His room looks like such a big boy room now!! I posted pictures of his room earlier this year, go check it out if you want to see before pictures. :) And here are the after pictures!

Ashlynn was borrowing his dresser and bookshelf until now, now she has her own dresser. (It was also on sale!)

We kept his Toy Story stickers up on the wall because he didn't want me to take them down. He heard me talk about getting rid of them and he got really upset so we decided to keep them.

We will be getting rid of the Toy Story toy storage soon but for now it's still there.

I need to find a new place for his t-ball and soccer team pictures. I kind of forgot about them until now, probably because they are hard to see!

He loves his new room and new bed. And so do I! He was a little nervous to sleep in it by himself the first night that he had it so I slept with him and it's super comfy! And I have to add that I am pretty proud to say that I put his bed together... with my dad's help. :P Dave was working the day the bed got here and Dawson's room was a MESS (Dave pulled all the pieces out of the box because he thought he'd have time to put at least half of it together but then we got busy doing other things) so I *had* to get it organized and put together. I felt so much better (and I'm sure Dawson did) when we were able to walk into his room without tripping over something.

His closet still needs a little bit of work but it looks a lot better than it did last time I posted a picture of it! My mom is changing my dad's office into a play room for the kids so some of Dawson's toys that are in his closet are going to go over there (his tent for sure, not sure what else). And as soon as Dave fixes Dawson's table it will go where his Toy Story toy organizer is and that will get the chairs out of his closet.

Next up is Ashlynn's room. She'll be graduating from her crib soon and into a toddler bed. She is going to use the toddler bed that Dawson just grew out of but we have to paint it white first because that's what color her new furniture is. :) I'm excited to finish up her room next.
