Tonight while me and the kids were coloring Ashlynn just randomly started counting. She counted from 1 to 10 all on her own!!! As she was counting I tried to act like I wasn't paying attention because I knew if I showed excitement right away she'd get distracted and stop. I was shocked when she counted all the way to 10!! We count things every now and then but we haven't really been working on counting or anything. I got it on video too!! It's not the best video because she wouldn't count while I was holding the camera so I put it on the table and pretended it was off. I didn't realize it wasn't focused. Oops! And I kind of mess her up after 5 because I dropped a crayon. Double oops! She gets back into and counts to 10 (maybe 11? It sounds like she is trying to say 11, I think we should count it as 11...)
Here she is!! She talks softly (she hasn't been feeling well today, I think she's coming down with a cold) so you might want to turn your speakers up a bit (I'll try to talk softly next time, too. haha). I'm glad I thought to have her count crayons because she just wasn't having it at first.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm so proud of her!!! She does so good!!!!
