I've been meaning to update about Dawson's new words for awhile now, but I am way behind. He learns new words all the time so I don't even know where to start. One day (hopefully before his 18 month checkup in a couple of weeks) I want to sit down and write down all the words he says just for fun. I know he says at least 30, I think it's probably closer to 40 though. And he has been putting sentences together pretty good, too.
The other day I was showing Dawson a video of himself at Disneyland on the computer, when the video was over he said "where it go baby" meaning "where did the baby go?" He also says things like:
"I see airpain" (airplane)
"I see Mama"
"where is it?"
"where it go?"
"let's go!"
A couple weeks ago Dave acted like he was falling and then laid down on the floor, Dawson came up to him and said "okaaaaay?" (asking Dave if he was ok) It was ADORABLE!
I really, really, REALLY want to get him talking like he usually does on video, but he doesn't like to show off when I want him to. *lol* I think I am just going to start video taping him while he is playing with Dave and hope that he doesn't notice the video camera.
Hopefully you'll see a video soon of Dawson chatting away!

How cute.ya u should just try to video tape when he doesn't know it. I know u probably get tired of me saying this story but...I knew it from the time he was born and how alert he was...looking around the room wanting to know what was going on...little. Genius.:)
