18 Month Checkup and Ducks!

Dawson had his 18 month appointment yesterday and everything went well. Can you believe our baby is a year and a half old already?! He weighs 28.6 pounds (80th %ile) and is 34 inches (92nd %ile) long! When we were waiting to be called back there was 4 or 5 other kids there all around Dawson's age and Dawson was in heaven! He wanted to play with everyone. He was definitely the most outgoing out of the group. *lol* It was fun to see him interact with other kids his age. I need to find a play group or something because he has so much fun and gets so excited when other kids are around.

After his appointment we grabbed something to eat and then went to go feed the ducks at the harbor down the road from our house. We had some hamburger buns that we weren't going to be using and we knew Dawson would have a lot of fun feeding the ducks and he definitely did!

We got lucky because right when we pulled up we saw a duck on the grass!


The duck only stuck around for about 5 minutes before Dawson started getting too close and scared it away. Dawson chased after him though! It was funny, the duck was running as fast as he could to get away and Dawson was running as fast as he could to catch him!


After the duck ran away we sat on a bench for a few minutes just looking at the water. It was nice. I took a couple pictures of Dave and Dawson because they looked so cute checking out all the boats.


A couple more ducks were in the water and came over so we could feed them, too. That didn't last very long though because the seagulls noticed we had food and within a matter of seconds there were like 20 seagulls flying around us. I was scared that they were going to attack us or something so we left. *lol*

We had a really a great day. I love spending time with my boys!
