Happy Easter!

Dawson colored Easter eggs for the first time last night. He had a lot of fun doing it and was a little mad when we were all done. He stood on a chair at the kitchen table and Dave stood behind him. We didn't even think about using his little table until we already had everything set up on the kitchen table. Oops!

He even put them back in the egg carton after he was done coloring them.

Here he is with all the eggs he colored. He only dropped and cracked one. (The other one that is missing cracked when I was boiling them.)

Dawson got some books, some beach toys, an outfit and some sandals. My dad and Carrie got him some beach toys, too, and my mom and dad got him swim trunks and a shirt. He's all set to go to the beach!

Here are some pictures of Dawson finding the eggs, he had a lot of fun with that.

He did really good at finding them.

After we had breakfast and Dawson had a short nap we met some of our friends on the Midway for some Easter activities.

There was a little petting zoo...

And the Easter bunny!

There wasn't really too much to do so we didn't stay very long. After that we went to Chili's for lunch and now we have to finish packing for Disney!

We felt a pretty big earthquake (7.2) a couple of hours ago, it was really scary. I have felt a couple earthquakes before but they were all pretty small and only lasted a few seconds. This one seemed to last forever (we've heard on the news it was about 45 seconds long) and the house was shaking like crazy. It was scary. Dawson was upstairs sleeping and me and Dave ran up there to get him and then we all went to the park across the street. I don't know if that was the safest thing for us to do, but at the time we just wanted to get out of the house because it was shaking so bad! We will have to do some research and make sure we know what to do if that ever happens again. I am so glad that Dave was here or else I would have been a total mess! We are all fine though, just a little shook up. (Ha, that was kind of funny...shook up...) We have felt a few aftershocks but things seem to be settling down now.

I hope everybody had a great Easter!

Oh, and in case you didn't notice we updated the pic under "Our Little Family" on the top right.
