Souvenirs and Videos from Disney

First of all let me say that it is SO hard to get a picture of Dawson anymore! I chased him around for almost 20 minutes trying to get a good picture showing off his Mickey jacket and Mickey ears hat. He finally stopped in front of the TV and I was able to take a couple.

We bought the jacket a little big that way he can wear it when the weather starts cooling down again in a few months.



I love it, I wish it still was jacket weather here so he could wear it now.

And his Mickey ears are a little big, too. We bought child size instead of toddler size because we knew he wasn't going to wear them this trip (we tried them on him before we bought them and he wouldn't leave them on for even 2 seconds) so we figured buying them big would be a good idea so he can wear them next time we go to Disney. And even if he never wears them, I think it's a neat souvenir.


And the back. Sorry the pictures are blurry, he would not sit still last night when I was trying to take them.

We got this ornament to put on our Christmas tree. We are going to pick out a picture that we took of Dawson at Disneyland to put in there. I love this souvenir, too, and would love to get one every time we visit Disneyland. (We are hoping to go every couple years or so.)


And of course we had to get a postcard! We've got quite the collection already and I am looking forward to adding to it. I want to get a postcard for every vacation that we take and write a little bit about our trip on the back.


These are the weights that came on the balloon that we got Dawson. I was SO happy when I saw they were cute little Mickey heads! We buy Dawson a balloon to play with every now and then because he loves them so much and we have a couple of weights already (one is a clover and one is a pumpkin) but these are SO much cuter!!!


We got an autograph book, too. Dawson got 17 autographs! The 2 bears from Brother Bear couldn't sign because they have paws and couldn't grip the pen.

And my mom gave us this lanyard with some pins on it. She bought the pins really cheap on Ebay and we were going to trade them for better pins. We only ended up trading one though, we kept forgetting about it. *lol* We have a lot more of the smaller pins, I didn't put them all on the lanyard. And I think we have 2 more buttons that I haven't put on yet either.


Dawson has been coloring so well lately. I remember when he used to just stab the paper with the crayon, but now he actually scribbles and rotates between colors that I set out for him. He colored this picture all by himself. I set out a black, red and yellow crayon and let him do what he wanted. I love his finished masterpiece.


Because he's been getting more into coloring, we bought him this coloring book, too.


That is first picture that Dawson colored out of the book and Dave colored with him. Dave signed it at the top D&D for Dad and Dawson.


We also got a few things that we are planning to use for a future Mickey muffin tin themed lunch for Dawson, but those things are top secret until we use them. *lol*

Before we left I made a couple Mickey pops for me and Dave. I got the idea from a friend and they were super easy to do. I used Oreos, mini Nilla wafers, chocolate bark and lollipop sticks.

This one is a super short video of his balloon. It's only like 2 seconds long because I was trying to take a picture and didn't realize it was still in video mode. But I figured I would post it so you could see how it lit up.

This is while we were waiting in line for Peter Pan and Dawson was feeding Dave. I thought it was sweet.
