You are probably going to have to click on the picture to enlarge it to see it well. Although the picture really doesn't give it justice. It's BEAUTIFUL! I love it! Our picture is engraved in crystal. It came with a little stand that has blue LED lights, I think I like it better without the stand though (the stand is in the picture).
Part of the reason that he chose this gift is because crystal is what you give on your 3rd anniversary, according to this list of traditional and modern anniversary gifts. I think it's romantic that he's been following the list. Although it hasn't been from the modern version every time because for our first anniversary he got me a picture of us (paper) and wrote me a really sweet letter on the back of it. That will probably always be my favorite present that he has given me, but there are a lot of close seconds.
I think tomorrow I will post a few of our wedding pictures. I wish we could spend our anniversary together. Hopefully this will be the last one that we spend apart.

Happy anniversary boo! I can't believe it's been three years already! I remember when you were taking the engagement pictures!It's seems like it was maybe a year ago! Lol... The gift is really gorgeous! How thoughtful of him to follow the list! I'm so sorry that you can't be together! I'm so glad that Don and I met AFTER he retired from the Navy!
