Big Foot

I was filling out some of Dawson's baby book today and when I was finished Dave started looking through it. He came to the page where we had stamped his footprints just after he was born. (We brought the baby book to the hospital so we could use the ink they used.) Anyway, Dawson was playing on the floor so Dave grabbed his foot to compare it to the footprints in the book...

Some of the ink from the book stayed on his foot...his pinky toe didn't show up on his foot so I pointed to about where it was. Look how much longer and wider his foot is!

He's got chubby little feet now. :-D

I took this pic with my phone the other day...it was really dark so I tried to lighten it up a bit. He has got the cutest little face.

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this yet but he hasn't needed to be swaddled for over a week now! I am so happy to be done with that! He has been waking up a lot in the middle of the night lately. I don't think it's because of his "restless arms" though. I'm not sure if it's because he needs his binky or if it's because he wakes up and realizes me and Dave aren't there. Sometimes I have to get up close to 20 times a night to give him his bink and comfort him a little until he falls back asleep. I wish so bad that he was a better sleeper...if anybody has any ideas that might help him, I'd be willing to give it a shot!

Too cute! I have compared Ashlyn's feet and just her size in general to her baby pictures and just can't believe how big she's gotten! I hope that Dawson gets to sleeping better for you soon!

Oh my gosh..lol. That is so cute! He is getting so big. I love that picture. He does just have such a sweet face. :-)

I really hope he starts sleeping better. It get's hard feeling like a zombie all the time lol. And how you said he has been a little fussier latley..that could be why too. That he is not getting a good night sleep. Love you guys!!!

I have no ideas for you, sorry. Shayla was just a good sleeper! When she was about 3 weeks old I put her in the bassinet to brush my teeth, she fell asleep, slept through the night and did that most nights after. I think that was the most difficult night because I woke up about 100 times to make sure she was still breathing! *lol* It will happen for you too...sooner or later.
