Spring Cleaning

For some reason lately I have wanted to get rid of pretty much all the furniture we own and start over. I want to sell our bedroom set, kitchen table, couches, the twin bed in the guest room and the futon that we have in the garage.

I've already picked out the new bedroom set and couches that I want...now I just have to get rid of the old stuff first!

I also want to redecorate our bedroom and kitchen. I've the same birdhouse kitchen decor since I moved out on my own over 7 years ago! And the colors in our room are dark (mostly brown and black) I want some bright colors in there!

I am so in love with it!

We are planning on having a garage sale in a couple of weeks and whatever doesn't sell then, we will list on craigslist.

Today we cleaned out our bedroom closet and the closet in the family room. We got a ton of clothes that we are going to put in the yard sale, the clothes that don't sell will be donated to goodwill. We also got a whole bunch of random stuff that we haven't used in years. Some of the stuff is brand new, still in the packaging (picture frames...and I forget what else) but I figure we haven't used them so might as well try and sell it or donate it.

It's going to feel so good to know that we have gotten rid of all the stuff that we never use. :-D

Lastly, I'm going to leave you with a couple pictures that I took off Dawson the other day. He is showing off an outfit that my Dad and Carrie sent for him.

In the 2nd picture it looks like he is screaming like a rock star would. :-P
