Dawson's First Jazz Game!

A couple of weeks ago my boss told me that he had a friend that was selling some Jazz tickets. One of the games he was selling tickets to was a game against the Nuggets! And it just so happened to be on a Monday night, which is Dave's day off. I knew it was meant to be and I had to get these tickets! Dave is a Nuggets fan and Dawson is a Jazz fan (thanks to me). Dawson had been excited for the game since we told him that him and dada were going. He really wanted me to go, too, and I totally wish I could have. I was happy that my boys were able to go though. They rode trax up to the arena (Ashlynn heard us talking about them taking the train and was upset that she wasn't going, she loves the train!) and got some dinner there before the game started.

I love this picture of them.

I like this one of Daws, you can tell that they had pretty good seats! Mama spoiled them. ;)

The Nuggets were up during the first two quarters (I was watching the score at home) and I was a little nervous that Dawson's team might lose. But the Jazz came back in the second half and after a very close and intense last quarter they won 105 to 103!! Woot woot! Sorry Dave. :P

Dave said Dawson really enjoyed the game and only started getting antsy and wanted to leave during the last few minutes of the game. He did really good!! I was SO excited to see them when they got home and Dawson was so happy and excited to tell me that the Jazz won. As soon as he saw me he said "guess what?!" I asked him what and he said "the Jazz WON!!!" It was so cute to see him so excited! I asked him if he cheered for them and he said "yes, I said go Jazz! I know you can do it!" That's my boy! He came home with some cool stuff, too. They were giving out these Jazz lunch boxes to people as they were coming in and they got the towels from a little basketball game that they had set up for people to play.

Don't you just love his Jazz shirt? It's huge and goes down to his knees. *lol* At least we know it will fit him for a couple of years, we'll definitely get our moneys worth from it!

And here's a picture of Ashlynn on game day sporting her pink Jazz shirt.

Hopefully all four of us will be able to go to the next game. I think we'd all enjoy it! :)
