Ultrasound and Bedding!

We had another ultrasound last Wednesday. The tech didn't talk to us at all and she didn't let me see the screen while she was doing the measurements. I was pretty bummed when we left because I no idea if the baby looked ok and I didn't get to see her for more than 2 minutes. She turned the screen for a minute to show me that she was a girl and she showed me her face and heart and that was it. We called the next day to talk to the doctor to make sure everything looked ok but we couldn't talk to him. The receptionist said if there was something wrong we would have heard from them already so that made me feel a lot better. I still wish I could have seen more of the ultrasound though. We were able to get a copy of all the pictures she took since I she didn't give us very many (I will post the ones she gave us here) but all the other pictures she took weren't very good either. We might go do anything 3D ultrasound later on but we haven't decided for sure yet.

Anyway, here are the pictures we got of our sweet baby girl, Ashlynn Marie!




I'm excited to go shopping for her soon! We held off on shopping so far besides the blanket and outfit we bought after the first ultrasound just because I wanted to be sure we were having a girl. *lol* We started looking at bedding a few weeks ago, I really, really wanted to do her room in Disney babies but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.


So we decided to go with Winnie the Pooh! We haven't bought it yet, but we are pretty sure that we will be getting this bedding set for her and then decorating her room around that.
Now we just need to decide what we are going to do Dawson's room in since he is going to be getting a toddler bed soon! I'm really in no hurry to put him in a toddler bed, even if he's still in the crib by the time Ashlynn gets here (which I really doubt he will be) that would be fine because Ashlynn will be sleeping in a bassinet in our room for a few months anyway so she won't need the crib right away.
