He won!!

For a few months now Dawson has really enjoyed coloring. He asks me if he can color at least a few times everyday and usually colors for about 10-15 minutes each time. We had to stock up on coloring books because he was going through them so fast! Anyway, the housing that we live in was having a coloring contest back in August so I decided to pick up a coloring page for Dawson so he could enter. He did such an awesome job coloring it!


Like I said this was back in August and to be honest I had forgotten all about it. Today I got a phone call from the main office and they told me Dawson had won!!! She said they had a prize for him that we could pick up at any time. Most of you know that I am a super emotional person and I being pregnant makes me a million times more emotional...when I got off the phone with the lady I cried. *lol* I am just so proud of my baby boy! I was clapping and making a big deal about it and Dawson was getting really excited even though I am pretty sure he had no idea what I was talking about.

We went to the office to pick up his prize, I had no idea what it was. I think the lady might have told me while we were on the phone but every time I get a phone call Dawson goes crazy because he wants to talk to whoever it is so I really couldn't hear her very well. He kept saying "I talk to Papa! I talk to Papa!" My dad is the one who calls most often so Dawson talks to him almost everyday. Every time the phone rings he assumes it's either Dada or Papa. Anyway, back to the prize! He won a $20 gift card to Lakeshore and he got a certificate with his name on it saying that he won. :)
