Spaghetti Monster

I decided to be a little daring tonight at dinnertime and I let Dawson feed himself spaghetti. He has fed himself spaghetti before, but that was spaghetti that I had made and I always make sure to only give him a tiny bit of sauce. I wanted salad for dinner tonight and didn't feel like cooking anything so I gave Dawson one of his Gerber Graduate meals.

After he had a few bites I thought to myself, this isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I imagined him a lot messier!


Of course I just hadn't waited long enough for him to really dig in there! A few minutes later he was quite a bit messier! This is what I had expected to see all along...


Just about finished now, I don't think he can get much messier than this:

But I was wrong...

Just before I was about to get him out of his highchair to clean him off, he rubbed his eyes...



His entire face is ORANGE!

He looks just like his dad!!! *lol* Dave is probably going to kill me for posting this (my family always teases him about this picture, they say he looks like an oompa loompa!)
