Lights On

A few weeks ago we bought Dawson a really cool toy. One of my friends has a daughter that is a month older than Dawson and they have this toy, too. She actually recommended it to me and I am so glad that she did! Dawson LOVES it!

He pretty much plays with everything on the house and there is a lot to play with! Earlier today I asked him to turn the light on and he did it! He's been doing it for a few days now, but today was the first time I was able to get it on video.

I started the video a little bit early so you can see him standing himself up, too. He has gotten SO good at it! I was surprised the other day when he stood himself up in the hallway using only the wall!

Anyway, back to the video, I ask Dawson to turn on the light and he does it...Mr. Smarty Pants. :-)

In other news, he has been crawling a lot more lately, he still army crawls, too, as you seen in the video.

There are a couple other things that he has been doing that I am hoping to catch on video soon. If I ask him to sing and dance he will do it. He doesn't always sing when I ask, but when he does it's really cute and he always dances.

Also, if I sing the Itsy Bitsy Spider to him, he'll put his fingers together like he's making the spider crawl up the spout. He does it at the beginning and at the end of the song. And he'll do it without me doing the hand motions, he just needs to hear me sing it. He only does the hand motions for the spider parts and he dances through the middle of the song. It's super cute. :-)
