Hip Hip Hooray!

Dawson CAN crawl! He's been army crawling since he was about 6 months old...maybe closer to 7 months, I need to go back and check. Anyway, about a week ago I saw him crawl! It was only for a couple of seconds and then he went back to his usual army crawl (or as my mom calls it, "navy crawl" she says he crawls that way because he knows his daddy is in the military *lol*). For the past week he would crawl every now and then and pretty much my whole family got to see him do it for at least a second or two. Yay!

I've been trying to get it on video so Dave could see, too, but I haven't had much luck until tonight! He still army crawls most of the time. He only really crawls if he is trying to get something that is up a little high. I'm hoping he will realize how it's just as easy to get around by crawling, and quit army crawling all together! He's always got rug burn on his arms from army crawling and he always has to wear pants (or babylegs!) to protect his legs. I'd keep him in long sleeves all the time if I could, but he'd probably get heat stroke!
