We bought Dawson a couple of new books the other day and of course he loves them. After I read the new ones to him, I put them on the couch and put him in his exersaucer and he just sat there and starred at the books. He wouldn't play with his toys so I decided to go ahead and let him read the books by himself. They were in his mouth most of the time but it looked like he was trying to turn the pages.
I think he is going to really like to read when he is older. He almost always sits very still while I am reading to him. Every once in a while he will try to grab it but for the most part, he just listens and looks at the pictures. :-)
In other news, he has been drooling like crazy for the past few weeks. He seriously soaks at least 5 or 6 bibs a day! I heard that it gets worse once they start teething...I can't imagine it getting any worse than it is now. *lol*
Oh! And I just remembered something else that he just started doing that is so cute! He has been fake coughing for a while now but just recently he started "coughing" after he sneezes. It's so funny. I am definitely going to have to try to get it on camera.
He likes to fake cough because he knows it will always get my attention and I will always say "Oh baby, are you ok?" *lol* He's such a silly baby.
Dave's ship is leaving AGAIN...I'm not supposed to say when but it's very SOON. :-( Luckily this time he will only be gone for about a week. (I don't think I am supposed to say that either...oh well. :-P) I hope this week goes by very fast!

Awwwww!!! He's a little smarty pants! I read to Shayla all the time when she was a babya and now she loves stories! She has a library in her room! Dawson is going to be so smart!
