House Before and After Pics

 I just wanted to add some updated pics of our house... we've still got some work to do but it's all coming together. :)

I really, really, really want to add wainscoting especially because we already have the chair rail but that will have to wait a little while. I also want to stain the railings, hopefully we'll be able to do that soon!

I'm not finished decorating the kids' bedrooms quite yet but here's what Dawson's room looked like before (most of these before pics are pics from when the previous owners lived here)

So happy to see all the upstairs carpet go, too! And of course a fresh coat of paint, and I painted his brown baseboards white!

One thing that does drive me crazy about ALL of the bedrooms is the vents are on the floor which means we can't just put our furniture anywhere. I think in every bedroom the vent is where I would either put a bed or a dresser. *lol* It's not that big of deal but boy would I love it if the vents were on the ceiling!
