Ok, it's official... Ashlynn's first word is dada! She has said dada once or twice before and has said mama once but we're not sure if she meant to say them or if she just said them. This time it's definitely different, she is trying to say dada. At first it comes out nana, but after a few tries she will say dada. Yay!! She started saying it on Saturday (September 24th to be exact) and she would only say it when Dave was around. Every time I would try to get her to say it she would just say "nana" so I thought Dave was crazy. I finally heard her say it on Sunday. And of course I cried. Happy tears! It was so sweet. I was even able to get a little bit on video. She starts out saying nana but then starts saying dada. (It was Sunday so of course she has her Broncos onesie on... we really need to get a pink one. ;) )
