Out on the Playground

We go on long walks 4 or 5 times a week and we always stop by a playground while we're out so Dawson can get some play time in. Both of the kids really enjoy getting out of the house and being outside. One of Dawson's favorite playgrounds lately has been this one with the swings. Most of the time we let him choose what playground he wants to go to and then plan our walk around that. He doesn't know how to swing by himself yet, but he can swing in a regular swing if we're pushing him. Sometimes he asks to sit in one of the baby swings because we push him higher when he's in that...


He sure is a happy boy!


And recently Ashlynn has started swinging, too! It was a little windy last night so I had her in her jacket just to be sure that she would stay warm. She has a blanket in front of her to help keep her sitting up instead of falling forward. She is getting really good at sitting up by herself for short periods of time on the floor but I think it will be a little while before she can sit up in a swing by herself.



She loves the swing!


She loves sitting up in the stroller while we're walking too. She looks around at everything and just takes it all in. :)
