Fun in the Water

A couple of weekends ago Ashlynn took her first dip in a swimming pool. :) When we first got to the pool around 11am it was a little chilly and windy out so I didn't want to get in with Ashlynn right away (and the pools are not heated). Of course Dave and Dawson didn't mind a little bit of cold and jumped right in. Some of our friends met us there about an hour later and it had warmed up some but Ashlynn was starting to get cranky. I decided to take her in the kiddie pool and just let her splash around a bit. She liked it for a few minutes but we didn't stay in for very long.


Dawson had a blast running around and splashing in the kiddie pool. It's only a foot deep all the way around so it's perfect for him to play around in.


Of course he likes to hang out in the regular pool, too. He was having so much fun "swimming" back and forth between Sandy and Dave.


I love this picture of Landon hanging in his tube. He's such a little cutie.


Dawson is always so excited when we tell him we're going to see Landon (and Madie, and Abby, etc.) but he usually ignores all the kids and runs off to play by himself once we get there. Silly boy.

We also went to the sprayground a couple of times last month and Dawson LOVES it there!




Here he is sitting with his friends eating some Cheetos. They each had their own plate of Cheetos at first but Dawson decided that all the Cheetos should be on one plate and then he tried to put that plate in his lap. *lol* What a little stinker. It was really funny and even though I didn't capture any of the Cheeto swapping, I still had to take a picture.
