It's a Girl!

Dave came home yesterday so we were able to go get a 3D ultrasound and we found out that we're having a baby girl! I'll post some pictures from the ultrasound and some video in this post too. She was moving around a lot at first and then she was really still for awhile, it looked like she was sucking her thumb! And then towards the end she started moving and stretching again. It was so neat to see her hands, fingers and feet!

Here is her cute little profile:

This is the top of her head and one of her hands.

Here you can see the side of her head, an arm and her legs pretty good.

And this one you can see the front of her face and both arms.

And of course the It's A Girl! shot. :)

And here is about a minute or so of the ultrasound where you can see her move around quite a bit. (I think she yawns at the beginning, it's pretty cute)

We'll be getting another ultrasound in about a month and that will just be the regular black and white ultrasound that you typically see. It's kind of neat that we will have both. :)

After dinner we went to Target to pick out a pink outfit and blanket. :) We haven't been able to shop for pink before so it was kind of exciting! Me and Dave picked out 3 outfits that we liked and then we let Dawson choose the one we were going to buy. We had him do it twice and he picked the same outfit both times so he definitely had his mind made up. :)

Here is what we got. :)

I know Dawson doesn't look very happy in the picture, but he was! He was laughing and having fun but I think when I said "Dawson, look at mama!" so I could take his picture he was like what?!?! *lol*

We are all so excited! Well, Dawson doesn't really know what's going on but I know he is going to love his baby sister when she gets here.

Congratulations to your family, Jamie!
I wish I would be told about the sex of my baby too. Just here at the lab I go to, they have that ethical policy that they are not allowed to tell. Cos they think some ppl with culture background might not want the baby if they find out it's not a boy. And that really frustrates me!
