Day 3... Our last day at Disney!

We woke up a little late this day (we stayed up late watching fireworks the night before!). We hurried and got ready and got all of our stuff together because we had to checkout of the hotel. It was just after 8 so California Adventure had just opened for it's Extra Magic Hour. So me and the kids headed to the park while Dave put our luggage in the car. We went straight for Toy Story Midway Mania! The kids love that ride! We rode it twice in a row, then rode King Triton's Carousel, then headed to ride The Little Mermaid ride again. Like I said before the kids weren't too fond of trying new rides so we decided to stick to the ones that they had already been on, the ones I knew they liked!

Dave called me and said he was waiting for us between the parks so we decided to meet him out front and head into Disneyland. (this photo was actually from day 2 but I forgot to add it in yesterday's post)

We saw Pluto when walked in and Ashlynn wanted to meet him. We met him at Goofy's Kitchen but Ashlynn was scared of the characters at the time and was hiding under the table! Not this time, though, she wanted to give him a hug!
We walked passed the Tiki Juice Bar and noticed there was no line (no matter it was 9am... it was my birthday!!!) so we stopped by and got a couple of Dole Whip Floats. YUMMM!!!!
We sat down on a bench outside of Sleeping Beauty's castle to eat them and that's when Dave surprised me with a birthday present. :) :)
I love it!!!

We walked through Sleeping Beauty's Castle after that. Another first for all of us.

After that we went and rode Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, the kids loved it. While we were waiting in line for that ride the kids saw the line to meet Tinker Bell and wanted to go there next. Besides Anna and Elsa she was the longest we had to wait before we got to meet her. Or maybe it just felt that way because it was day 3 and our feet were killing us. haha

We met Silvermist first.

And then Tink!

When we were leaving there we ran into Alice and the Mad Hatter. We had already met Alice so we asked the Mad Hatter for a picture and an autograph. :)
Oh! I forgot that we let the kids pick out some souvenirs when we got into Disneyland this day. Ashlynn picked out an Ariel jewelry box and an Aurora necklace (you can see it in some pics that I posted) and Dawson picked out two action figures... Rocket Racoon and Star Lord!

We had reservations for lunch at Rainforest Cafe so we said goodbye to Disneyland and headed to lunch.

Lunch was super yummy. Our next adventure was waiting for us in Las Vegas, that's where we were headed next. Stay tuned for the last leg of our trip! :)
