Here is Ashlynn is some cute new pjs. She actually got 4 new pairs of pjs a few days ago and I love them all! These ones that she has on in the picture have little froggys on them.
A few nights ago I made three cheese penne pasta for dinner and Ashlynn LOVED it. She had two servings of it and she made a huge mess while eating it. :)
And here's our handsome boy getting ready to run some errands with Dada. I thought he looked too cute so I had to snap a picture before they left.
And now for the birthday pics!!! For Dawson's 3rd birthday I made him a special breakfast, lunch, and dinner for his dinner. That is a tradition that I want to do with both kids on their birthdays every year. And of course they are extra spoiled on their birthdays, too!
For breakfast Dada made blueberry pancakes and I topped Ashlynn's with some whipped cream and sprinkles.
She loved them!
For lunch she had a jelly sandwich in the shape a number one and some diced carrots.
She gobbled up all of her lunch... Yum!
And for dinner, since I couldn't ask Ashlynn what she wanted (when she gets older I will let her decide what her birthday dinner will be), I figured you can't go wrong with mac & cheese. And some broccoli. I made homemade stovetop mac and cheese this time because I figured it's more kid friendly rather than the baked mac & cheese that I made for Dawson's birthday dinner. Although Ashlynn does love my baked mac & cheese (Dawson doesn't) I knew she would like this too. And Dawson ate all of his so I found a winner!
Ashlynn had two servings.
Here's the birthday girl with a birthday hat on. She didn't like wearing it but I was able to get a couple of pictures with her wearing it.
Here she is with the balloon that aunt Brandee brought to her. She loved it! Oh, and she's giving Minnie some kisses. She loves her, too.

She had her 12 month checkup today and it went really well! She weighs 21lbs 1oz (down 2oz from her 9 month checkup but we were in CA for that. Different scales so she might not really have lost weight, she's probably staying about the same.) and she is 29.5 inches long. She's grown 2 inches since her 9 month checkup! She's in the 50th percentile for her weight and the 55th percentile for her length. She's growing good and is meeting the milestones that should be. She did have to get 3 shots today. That part of her appointment was no fun but they don't seem to be bothering her too much now so that's good!
Lastly here are some pictures that Dave took of me and Ashlynn today. ♥ Kisses for my 1 year old!
