A couple of weeks ago we went to the San Diego fair. All of us had a lot of fun! Dawson loved riding the rides, he said the helicopters and airplanes were his favorite. Another one of his favorites was this obstacle course type thing that him and Dave went through and once they got through it all and were at the very top there was a big slide to go down!

They went through it twice and Dawson loved it. They wouldn't let them go down the slide together so Dawson had to go by himself but he wasn't scared at all. I wish I could have gotten a picture of him coming down the slide (only had the camera on my phone which was too slow to capture him) because he had the biggest smile on his face each time he came down.
This is the view that me and Dawson had from the top of the ferris wheel. He was excited that we could see the ocean, he loves the water.

Ashlynn is a super happy baby, she rarely cries even when she has just woken up. I always have to listen really closely to the monitor to hear her moving around or else I wouldn't know she was awake, she doesn't make a peep! (She's been sleeping through the night for a few months now. yay!!)

We made a quick trip to Salt Lake a little over a week ago to look at houses because we are going to be moving back soon! We saw 17 or 18 houses in 2 days and absolutely feel in love with one of them, but it wasn't meant to be. We've decided it will be best to just rent when we get back and then start looking at houses again at the beginning of next year.
The drive out there was about 12 hours long and both kids were SO good! I think it helped a lot that we decided to drive overnight so the kids would be tired and want to sleep. They both had their moments but for the most part did awesome. Dawson was so excited to see everybody that he hardly slept at all. He was being really sweet. When we were passing through Vegas I let him know that we still had a long way to go and he said "we're coming to see you Papa & Nana." I told him that we were too far away and they couldn't hear him so he said it again but this time he yelled it, thinking if he was louder they would hear him. It was so sweet.
Besides looking at houses (which we spent 4-5 hours each day doing) we had 2 family barbeques to go to. It was nice to spend time with so many family and friends. I feel like we got a lot in in a short amount if time so even though we haven't found our house yet, the trip was still definitely worth it.
We did take very many pictures at all but we did get a few. I love this one of Hailee and Ashlynn.
Here is a family of ducks that we saw on one of our walks. The daddy duck was there, too, following behind the ducklings. SO cute!!

There are many things that I will miss about San Diego when we move, like being 5 minutes away from the ocean, being so close to Sea World and not too far from Disneyland just to name a small few. But I think the thing that I will miss most is being able to walk along the bay, it takes us about 5 minutes to walk there from our house and we see something new and exciting all the time. And just walking along the water is so beautiful and peaceful. And Dawson loves the playgrounds. There are 2 playgrounds that we walk to depending on which way we want to go (they are opposite ways from each other) I'm pretty sure I have posted pictures of Dawson playing on one of them already, this is one that we just found a couple of weeks ago... (Dawson is going down the slide.)

And lastly I have a really cute video to share. Me, Dawson and Ashlynn were playing on the floor yesterday and Ashlynn starting laughing at Dawson out of the blue. I was stoked that I had our flipcam sitting right next to me (I had just video taped her playing a little bit) and was able to get some of it recorded. :D
