Sea World

We went to Sea World yesterday. :) Everybody had a lot fun! I got a lot of good pictures and video so I'm going to share our favorite parts of the day with you!

First off we stopped to ride Elmo's Flying Fish. Dawson enjoyed the ride and he kept saying "Elmo fish!"

We wanted to ride a couple more rides but we realized it was almost time to go feed the dolphins and we didn't want to miss out on that so we hurried over there! Dawson was scared at first, he didn't cry or anything but he kept pulling away from the dolphin. But after a few minutes he warmed up to it, he didn't want to touch it but he was feeding it fish and laughing a lot, it was really cute.

After that we went to have lunch and then headed over to see Shamu's show. Dawson had fallen asleep in the stroller and we didn't want to wake him up so I stayed in the skywalk with Dawson and the stroller and Dave and Becca went and got front row seats. When we went to Sea World a couple of years ago we sat 6 or 7 rows up which is still in the "soak zone" and we got SOAKED. I definitely wouldn't sit in the soak zone again but Dave and Becca are brave. *lol*

I had a pretty good view from the skywalk, I was watching the show from the back and through glass but I could see really well and was still able to get some pretty good pictures. I love this picture! So amazing!

This one is a little blurry but still cool.

And this is why I would not sit in the soak zone again. The whales use their tales to splash water into the crowd and it is a LOT of water. This is where Dave and Bec are sitting, I wish I could have gotten the whale in the picture too. He splashed them 5 or 6 times! (You can click on the picture to enlarge it so you can see Dave and Bec better. I added some arrows so they are easier to find.)

The sharks were really cool, too! If you enlarge this picture you can see the shark's teeth really well.

I didn't take any pictures of the penguins because the exhibit was really dark and they were behind glass so I didn't figure the pictures would turn out well, they were so cute though!

Next up was the polar bears. This bear is pregnant and actually in labor! How cool would that have been to actually see her give birth!

I don't think I have ever seen a walrus in person before. I couldn't believe how HUGE it was!!! There was 2 of them (that we could see anyway) and they were being SO playful!!! They stayed right in front of the glass and kept showing off. I got a little bit of it on video, it was really neat to see.

I can't remember the name of this whale but I like this picture of Dawson looking at it.

Dada and Dawson in a cave. :)

Dawson got to dance with Cookie Monster and Bert!!! I got a little bit of this on video, too, it was so CUTE!!!

And lastly he got to meet Elmo!!! He was so excited!!!
