Busy, Busy, Busy!

I have a little down time while Dawson is napping so I figured I'd write a quick post. One week from today we will be loading the moving truck and then the day after that we will be driving to San Diego! Brandee and Arika came over last night and we got a lot of packing done. I'm guessing I only have an hour, maybe two of packing left to do, but most of that is going to wait until next week because it's stuff we use often so I don't want to pack it until I have to.

I wish I had some new pictures of Dawson to share, but we have been so busy that I have hardly taken any this month! My February 2010 folder on the computer only has about 6 or 7 pictures in it! Usually by this time in the month I probably have close to 50! I usually take a ton of pictures.

So, I don't have any new pictures to share but I can tell you about some new words and things that Dawson has started doing. First off his 8th tooth just came in. I don't know the name of it and I'm too lazy to look it up but it's right next to his right bottom front tooth. *lol* It's the tooth that I swear I saw weeks ago and then all of a sudden it disappeared! I saw it and felt it last night so I am pretty sure it's here to stay this time. Last night Dawson didn't sleep well at all. He was seriously up half the night so he may be getting his 9th tooth already, too.

The other day I put Dawson in his highchair and gave him his lunch and he held up one of his crackers and said "cr-ker" I was seriously amazed! I had no idea that he could say cracker! It amazes me how much he learns without me intentionally teaching him. Another thing, last night when my sisters were over we took a little break and American Idol happened to be on. I know I have mentioned that Dawson loves Ellen before and I really need to get his reaction to her on camera because it is so cute! Anyway, he saw Ellen and he got all excited like he usually does and then it went to commerical and Dawson said "whereshego" (where did she go) and me and my sisters just started cracking up laughing! He said it clear as day (except it sounded like 1 word) and he kept saying it over and over until he saw her again. I had no idea he could say that either! I'm going to sit down and make a list of all the words and phrases that he knows. I am pretty sure he is getting close to 30 words already.

One thing that I did teach him and I tried so hard to get it on camera but he just wouldn't do it when I had the video camera out, is to throw the football and then I say "touchdown" and he puts both his arms straight up in the air. It's so cute! I will keep trying to get it on video because I'd really like you guys to see it.

I think that is about it for now. Hopefully I will have some new pictures and video to share soon!
