Jazz vs. Nuggets!!!

Before I share some pictures from the Jazz game I want to share some pictures of Ashlynn stretching for her dance class yesterday. She just happened to be right in front of the door and the teacher hadn't closed the door yet so I couldn't help but take some pictures. :)

The Jazz were playing the Nuggets again last night so we decided to get tickets! And can I just say that we LOVE StubHub!! We were able to get lower bowl tickets that are normally $74 each for $30 each. Love! And of course we rode Trax so we saved money by not having to pay for parking. Double love!

Ashlynn's still a little too young to enjoy a basketball game so we asked Arika if she'd babysit while me, Dave and Dawson went. (Thank you Arika!!) Here are some pictures of us on the train. I took one of Dawson and then he wanted to take one of us. I'm going to have to start putting Dawson in charge of taking pictures more often, me and Dave hardly ever have a picture of just the two of us and Daws did a good job taking the picture!

Dawson almost turned into a smurf before the game started thanks to his blue cotton candy.

Almost game time!!

Go Jazz!

Of course Dave was rooting for the Nuggets, but me and Daws were cheering for the Jazz! I made sure Dawson knew where to find the score. He loved checking the score by himself.

The Jazz ended up losing (113 to 96... ouch!) but it was still SO MUCH FUN. Dawson was getting so into it!! When the Nuggets had the ball he would yell (or chant) "DE-FENSE!" And when the Jazz would score he would cheer and have the biggest smile on his face. And of course he'd look over at Dave to see his reaction when the Jazz would score (not that Dave really had much of a reaction). We're all good sports even with this little family team rivalry that we've got going on. :)

I can't wait to turn Ashlynn into a little Jazz fan. She's definitely going to go to games with us next season!!

Oh, I almost forgot! Before the game we saw the Jazz dancers and asked them if Dawson could get a picture with them. They said yes and thought Dawson was too cute but our little punk wouldn't take a picture with them!! He was being all shy and nervous (it must have been all the pretty girls, seriously, when is Dawson ever shy?!?) he is going to bummed when he's older and we tell him about the time that he could have gotten his picture taken with the Jazz dancers but wouldn't!! Little stinker. ;)

Ashlynn is just adorable! She'll love the dance classes and is so attentive to do things right. :)
So you go to a basketball game rooting for opposite sides? It was fun for all. :)
