Christmas and Singing!

I have been meaning to post about our trip to see Santa for a few weeks now... better late than never I suppose! We decided to go early to hopefully avoid the crowds and it worked! We only had to wait about 15 minutes before we saw Santa which wasn't bad at all. Dawson was super shy, but he didn't cry! He doesn't look very happy in the picture, in fact he looks sad, but he wasn't...he was just being shy.

Here is a picture of our tree this year... I'm so in love with it! This is the first year that we used white lights and we both think it looks so pretty.

A tradition that we started on Dawson's first Christmas is buying him his own ornament every year. We've been trying to have the ornament show what he liked or what he was into that year. The first year was just a Baby's 1st Christmas ornament. Last year was a Bolt ornament because he loves dogs. This year we decided to get him a Buzz ornament since he loves Toy Story and he got his new Toy Story room this year!

Here are a couple more ornaments that are new this year...

We got this one during our trip to Disneyland earlier in the year.

And although Ashlynn won't get her first ornament until next year, we decided we wanted to include her on our tree so we added one of her ultrasound pictures to this ornament...

I also have a cute video that I want to share. Dawson has been singing a lot lately. He knows a few little songs and sings them pretty well. The first one he sings is Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. He says "bonk his head, doctor said, no more monkeys jumping on the couch!" Sometimes he says bed, sometimes he says couch. *lol* I guess it just depends on what kind of mood he's in. And then the next song that he sings is one that I have been singing to him since he was a newborn... it goes like this:

I love you, I love you, morning, noon and night.
I love you, I love you, you make the world so bright!

And this is what Dawson says when he sings it... "I love you, I love you, morning, noon and night. So bright!" I makes my heart swim every time I hear him sing it. Anyway, here is the video so you can hear him sing it too!
