The Aquarium is right next to Legoland and we saw SpongeBob made out of legos! Dawson loved it.
Dada and Dawson in with the fish!
Dawson got to pet a starfish.
And then we got to hear a Dr. Seuss story. A diver read parts of One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. It was neat except there was a lot of people crammed into a small area to watch and it was HOT. We still enjoyed it though.
Ahhhhhh! Watch out, Dawson! There is a huge shark heading your way!
It's the fish from Finding Nemo!
Then last night we went to Movie Night at the Park that our housing put together. We love all the things they put together, they are so much fun. And we also love it because the park is right across the street from our house. :) Basically we walk out the door and we're there.
They were going to be playing Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. They had this cool little dinosaur exhibit set up:
And in this pic you can see the inflatable screen they had set up and Dawson running around. He looks unhappy in this picture but he was actually happy and laughing.
They had dinner for us too and cute dinosaur cookies for dessert.
We got to the park a little after 7 even though the movie wasn't going to start until a little after 8. We wanted to make sure that we got a good spot because we figured Dawson would be more likely to watch the movie if we could see it really well. We let him have his binky because we thought it would keep him happy and he would sit still and it worked! (Ever since Dave got home we don't give him his binky unless he is going to sleep. He doesn't even ask for it during the day.) He was so good and just sat in Dave's lap for the longest time!
The movie ended up starting 20 minutes late and by then Dawson had been sitting there for about an hour and he was starting to get antsy. But once it started he calmed down again and we were able to watch about 20 minutes of the movie before he was ready to go home. That is the longest that he has ever watched a movie before though! We are going to be watching A Bug's Life soon (probably next weekend) and we'll probably let him have his binky again so hopefully he'll just cuddle with us and we can all watch a movie together.
That's it for now! :)

You know what, Jamie, the more I read about Dawson, the more I wish we could be neighbors. Cos I'm sure Ethan would love to play with Dawson so much! And I love to be around moms who have kids around the same age as Ethan, so we could all share our lives together.
That looks like so much fun!!! I told Aaron if he gets stationed at that base next that we are totally going to try and move into your neighborhood! It would be so cool to be neighbors and to be so close to a park that does so many cool things. :) You never know, crazier things have happened!
